Blog Entries: 4 | hmmm...I was going more for scaled up bolter as the chaos heavy bolter is a bit shorter than it's imperial counterpart, But sure, let's go with that... I might need to alter the barrel in that case. As for the leg...yeah. it kinda just worked out like that. Each foot will have another layer of plasticard on the sole anyway, so I'll probably insert a rock in there somewhere. Arms are now attached, I'm going to see if I can sculpt a sort of eagle armour type thing... Though I'll need surgical gloves for his cape... For the moment, fallen SM captain is the goal. So...some spikes, hopefully a decent cape, scaled up commander type torso if I can manage the wings. I'll try to get a more accurate estimate of what it'll look like later on once the the GS has set.

As you can see, the helmet has fallen by the wayside for now, mostly because it wouldn't sit right on the collar, though I may yet have him holding it in the powerfist. I have yet to begin the wings on his torso, mostly because the GS was being fiddly and I got impatient, but we'll ignore that for now...  Beard-wise I'm hoping for something like this: GW Online : Warhammer : Ogre Kingdoms : Ogre Kingdoms Miniatures Though I'm waiting for the GS to set to add more... Thoughts?

Blog Entries: 4 | Having the mag that far forward never made sense to me, not without a barrel twice the length of the gun to keep the projectiles accurate. Originally, he was going to hold it across his chest, but that didn't feel right. a little more work. Damned wings aren't what I was aiming for, but they'll have to do for now.   Unsure whether to leave him wholly bald or give him a few wirey locks here and there.

GW Online : Warhammer : Ogre Kingdoms : Ogre Kingdoms Miniatures He'd still be bald on top, but he'd have hair at about ear level at the sides and at the back... I'll see once I get the cloak in order. Thank heavens these have to be unpainted is all I'll say... Could also give him a topknot, I guess. Colour-wise, I'm thinking Night Lords, if I can carry off the scheme. He'll look a bit odd in my regular army though.  EDIT: instead of re-doing the cables, I'll probably do a chainmail type thing there and continue it to the tabard.

Blog Entries: 4 | here's the scheme I had in mind. I'll add more pics as I get things finished... Steel Jackals EDIT: Started work on his tabard and am in the middle of resculpting his wonky foot. Hopefully I'll be able to start working on his cloak and such tomorrow once the rest has set.
