| Re: iNsOmNiAc'S dReAm Painting Comp. Entry Yeah that sounds like a winner. I was thinking about adding a bit of mithril silver to a pinkish off-white, then highlighting with a tad of skull white. Finish it off with a wash or two of a darker pink to pull the shading together... Yep that defo sounds like a winner. My original plan was to paint the guitar a pale metallic green, but I thought the colors would clash too much for this model's particular theme =P I think the guitar would look great as a cool pure white with gold trim too.. o.O I know it would look sharp but I'm thinking it would be too 'easy'... I dunno O.o pure white can be a pain to work with...

| Re: iNsOmNiAc'S dReAm Painting Comp. Entry Well I finished my peice just in time and posted my final entry. Unfortunatly due to time constraints and " unforeseen complications " -*cough cough *- I had to change some of my original plans.. As you can see I didn't go with the whole 'pearl' idea after all.. My first attempts with it were disastrous to say the least. I know many of you guys were excited to see the guitar in pear, but I decided to cut my loses and play it safe with a 'hot pink' guitar instead. Defo something to practice for up coming compeptions though. Over all I am pleased with the final result and I hope you folks feel the same  Anyway without further delay.. here are the final pics, please leave any and all comments here and not on the Final entry thread. Thanks for all of your support everyone!!!
