Ion Raptor's Entry - 40K Terra

I wasn't going to enter the contest, full knowing I couldn't beat a DC truescaled marine, but after looking through it and some others I've decided that not entering at all is a surefire way to lose. Seeing some of these entries I've noticed that they aren't so much conversions, but completely new modeling projects using plastic pieces as a skeleton for it.

I'll be making a Thousand Sons Terminator, it will use all plastic/metal parts. Greenstuff will only be used in places where even a two year old could get it right. I think this will appeal to people as unlike many other entries, it won't be a monumental work of art requiring a tube of Greenstuff and 30 hours of your life. It will instead be a practical conversion that anyone could do in less then 5 hours of work.

The best conversions are the simplest.

Forgot to mention, The pieces used will be:

Grey Knights Terminator
Thousand Sons head
meltagun muzzle
various plastic bits and pieces to make it look a little more chaotic

Ok, so due to me being constantly angered by the metal miniatures and their difficulty in converting i've turned over to a new project.

I'll be turning a Genestealer into the Alien, stay tuned.

Ok first off here's my date picture

after a couple of days in the Purple Power I started working on it.

and here's my latest, the head is starting to take shape and I've put in my braces for the back tubes.

ion, looking very cool. cant wait to see this thing finsihed, and i love the pose. i know its only a stock mdoel really, but then again, genstealers have always cried out 'Alien' to me at Least. anyway, cant wait to see this finsihed.

What`s with that bit of.... pilled up green stuff on the middle of it`s head?

BUT Xenomorphs ftw!!

In the different movies and games the heads change, I picked the one where there is a ridge halfway back the head. and only the forward section is glossy.

I can't find the picture, but I used it mostly to add some detail to the head, which was pretty plain.
