Just reminding you all, the painting comp starts in a couple of weeks!! You can still enter all the way through Feb, as long as you all have proof you painted your mini in feb, thats fine! So you have no excuses!

I'd say not.... They're not letting a dread in because of it, and I don't think it would change for anything else. At least, it shouldn't. But that's up to those who are running this shindig.. I'm just enjoying the pics.

Correct Erus.

The reason being it gives everyone an even playing field. So let me confirm,

Single mini = mini that fits on a slotta base and is based on a slotta base.

I apologise for not making that clearer, I'm not trying to step on peoples shoes, but really these are the only rules along with deadlines.

Damn... b/c I was going to use a terminator base to get more of a command center feel. But if those are the rules I'll make it seperatly.

Actually I have looked at how GD judge bases.

I think, so as not to take such a strangle hold over rules, I think it would be fine if the base is no bigger than a Termie base.

Then I have this to say!

Use this comp to push your painting skills as far as you can. The point of this comp is so we can have loads of pics. Plus there are specali prizes:

Best use of Colour
Best Base
Most Atmospheric
The Erus Award of Outstanding effort

Look at it as - even if your not successful this time you will probably have one of your best painted mini to come from the extra effort you put in for the comp!

That way everyone is a winner!

Actually i have minis now :P it`s time and willpower that i lack :P

Exam season starts monday at 8 am and ends sometime in early feb.... and i`ll me taking a brek from everything after that.

well i've had my entry sitting in it's blister on my desk for a couple of weeks, eagerly awaiting the tender touch of my brush

Up to you, if want to post your final entry pic, do it whenever. I personally will be saving my pic till the end. I wish I had made it a "How fast can you paint a vehicle comp" now I have my airbrush in full flow!

Feel free to W.I.P. it if you want. Depends how close you want to hold your cards!
