so i decided to enter this competition with one of my unbuilt, unpainted Dark angel veteran squads. I'ts 9:00 in the morning and I finished building them.

I'll post some pics in an hour or so (batteries dead) then ill get painting

nice quick work on the robes! i was wondering why their armour was scrappily drybrushed with bone...

the robes were a new idea actually I mixed the Denheb stone and graveyard earth together so it wasn't 200 layers of graveyard earth then a bleached bone highlight.

well here's another pic

admittedly the models are looking a bit crappy but iv'e got plenty of time to change that

Pretty nice and now you have the rest of the comp to take crits and touch them up!

as for you phil, i wouldn't say they were looking crappy at all! just in need of some detailing and a bit of minor tidying up in some places.

well anyway I've cleared up some details etc. but the major change is the dirt on the robes
