Blog Entries: 1  |  AND THE WINNER IS, PAINTING COMP 2008 And the winner is for the 2008 40K terra painting comp is.... drum rolls  Perturabo!!  and in a closely contested 2nd  Hairyyahoo!!  Congratualtions to you both, you may use your banner's!! Your rep points will be awarded to you (20 pts for 1st, 15 for second) and for the special prizes, (each with +3 reps) Best Base Baron Von Lexus!!  Best use of colour iNsOmNiAc'S dream!!  Most Atmospheric Prince of the Night!!  The Erus award of Most outstanding effort (TBA) I would just like to say thank you to everyone who entered. I think the standard has been really high and the effort everyone has put in has been over whelming! Please if you didnt win anything this time, you can certainly be proud of the fact that you have pushed your own skills to the limit giving you a great centrepiece for your army! With that I would like to thank Rellik for helping tons! Erus and Ikky for letting me do this! Baron Spikey and Steve for moving and deleting posts! I personally felt this was a really nailbiting contest, and I hope you all enjoyed it. | Re: AND THE WINNER IS, PANTING COMP 2008 mhmm ! haha for those of you who were afraid to enter, know that there is one more among you, i suck at painting so i opted to watch instead. and watch i did ! this contest was really tough. i can tell the quality level is really amazing, and the effort put into every model was incredible. who cares if you didn't win, you tried, and it takes guts to post something you did online where all of us can see. so kudos to all contestants ! :] and congrats to the winners as well, of course !
