That is why I am starting.

I won't tell who - but about 4-5 members on here convinced me, and I get great discounts.. so hell, why not give it a shot.

woot im glad you are gonna give it a try. i think you will love it. its a completly different type of game, so dont get caught up in the one is better than the other feud. both have her stengths and weekneses. i love the trollblood models and they re tuff SOB's

yup same here, i got a lil over 1000 pts of skorne and i got a bunch of cryx comming for my new Wm army. i cant wait!!

trollblood and skorne were my fave models and ive always wnated to buy some to paint up, though absolutely no one plays PP games in malta, which is a shame cuz i think theyre very cool indeed

I have painted Khador befor but knew no diff with hordes and WM....I thought hordes was WM.

I am very ignorant about this game though but i will tell you the models are AWESOME and very detailed. I like the warjacks (look like PH dreds to me kinda) but have never played or seen a game.

hey DC you should buy a few warpacks paint them up then just run demo's at your local store or with your freinds. they will more than likely get hooked and walla. one of the best things about the game is you dont need much to start playing.

only i try to avoid my local store like wild fire since they always try to flog me magic cards whenever i go there...

i love the models and almost ran an iron kingdom campaign once though never got round to it

hordes and warmachine though are separate games are the same core ruleset. the only differences are the way the magics work, focus vs fury, and jacks in WM and warbeasts in hordes. hence why both can be played vs each other.

yeah it is a really fun game, i have about 1500-1600 points of khador right now and about 500-600 in skorne. i play at the same store that god_grinder plays, i really like the system, rules and everything. and yeah WM and hordes is the same world time and everything, but yeah what god_grinder said was the difference, magic and large baddies. hordes has a more complicated but in my opinion better magic system then WM, but WM's is way more managable and easier.
