Princes Toxg ... Fantasy Dwarves "Bugman's Drunks"

[Prince of the Night]

I can't believe that I am actually going to attempt to build and paint another army right now, let alone a fantasy one. I do not play fantasy, but I always wanted to learn. A few years back when Mordheim was a popular game in our gaming group, I assembled a dwarves war band and had fun painting the minis.

I guess now is as good a time as any to start a new game.

My list will be Fantasy Dwarves 2000 points "Bugman's Drunks"

Hero Joeseph Bugman "General"

Hero runesmith "hand weapon runestaff, and rune of spell breaking"

Hero master engineer "hand gun pistol and great weapon"

core 20 warriors "heavy armour and two handed weapons"

core 16 longbeard rangers "great weapons and rune of stoicism"

core 16 thunderers "light armour hand weapons, hand guns"

core 16 quarellers "light armour crossbows, hand weapons"

special Cannon "rune of reloading"

special Grudge thrower "rune of burning"

special 16 miners "steam drill and blasting charges"

I am not sure exactly what I will be doing to spice this army up a bit as far as the whole drunkeness thing but it will come to me sooner or later.

well for starters there's Bugman himself and there's also the drunken dwarves.

Yeah, those drunken dwarfs are cool and I will be using them, but I will need to try and convert the majority of my minis to be quenching their thirst with some beverage of choice. Possibly GSing pint mugs as hand weapons as a possibility. I am up for suggestions.

Well I got my Dwarf army box set in the mail last week, and having had to finish painting my sons bedroom, I haven't had the chance to actually see what was inside the box until today. HOLY bleep, there are a keg load of minis in that box. I hope I am up for this challenge.

My Goals for June will be to buy, assemble and PAINT Joe Bugman.
Assemble my 16 miners
Sketch up a few runes to use as battle standars.

Here is what my color scheme will look like for this army. The lantern is not finished as I am going to do an OSL effect with this model. He is my miner standard bearer.
