| Re: The Tale of the Warmaster (TOXG W.I.P.) neat! i don't often see the crimson fists, which is a shame really as they have a great backstory! if you're interested, here's the paint scheme we did for our store's recent 'paint a company, win a company' fists army: a) over a black undercoat, paint the entire model mordian blue b) apply a blue wash c) drybrush regal blue d) paint fists mechrite - then wash with baal red e) bolter casing done in black f) metalic details picked out in boltgun and then given a black wash. it's a nice simple scheme that looked really, really good! of corse, you can take the highlighting as far as you want really - a nice sharp highlight to the regal drybrush is to pick out the sharp edges of the armour plates w/enchanted blue... hope this helps, cheers!

| Re: The Tale of the Warmaster (TOXG W.I.P.) no worries! i'm still seeing dark blue everywhere actually! we got upto 93 painted marines from our customers for the company raffle... are you thinking of going with a necron abyss basecoat then, with perhaps a light mordian blue drybrush? cheers!
