|  9th Grand Company, Night Lords This is my 2000 pt Night Lords army. I know alot of Night Lord players like to take a more CC fighting style, but I like shooty armies. Seeing as how Night Lords don't really have anything spectacular for CC I decided on taking a heavier style, by having only 3 Fast attack, 2 troops, 2 elites, 1 HQ, and 2 Heavy Supports.(I'm still working on names. Suggestions on names welcome.) | Wow! Well, first off, just a suggestion, you can just say 5 chaos termies, and then say that there's an autocannon in there somewhere. Makes it al little easier on the eyes. Looks pretty solid. I think you'd have to take out a terminator to fit Dark Jester into the Land Raider, though. Also, don't go Lascannons and Heavy Bolters. You can have wasted shots on vehicles with the HB's and wasted shots on troops with the TLLC. I would say, given a lack of long-range tank hunting ability (not every game will be at night), go for the triple lascannons. | Names for units I find that the best names for night lord units are, Terror/horror/murder/darkness and basic any words of the like in small sentences like the terror in the darkness translated into latin it just sounds cool for example:terror in the darkness = formidonis in obscurum or soul horror = animus atrox but this is just my op http://www.translation-guide.com/fre...glish&to=Latin For latin translations Ave Dominus Nox |

| Ahhh... The infamous pansy Night Lords.. When do I get a chance to crush their souls in glorious offering to Slaanesh again m'friend? As a man who has played you, I would second the lascannon ideas. A bit more range would be better. Thats how I manage to get to you, is that with the speed my army has picked up, you've seen I get too close for comfort with my jump units before you can thin my ranks. Longer rnage (las, missle, etc..) will be your friend. I dunno why i'm helping you... DOH! |
