| So I have a question because I have wanted to start a chaos army (both astartes and guard) and am torn between a tzeentch style army (with my own background set up) OR an undivided and just design the entire army from the ground up (which when I think about it sounds more apealing) any thoughts? by the by already play both IG and SM so... time for some mean spiky guys. its that or the new DE codex is coming so... |

As for the Chaos... I am a bit biased towards Tzeentch at the moment. Though I have played Death Gaurd(nurgle) in the past. I love the Tzeentch models and the rules are pretty sweet. AP 3 Bolters with 4+ invunerable save is always nice. My suggestion would be to read up as much as you can on Chaos and go from there. There is no reason you can't use the rules for Tzeentch, but make up your own chapter. Just my two cents, Servo

Blog Entries: 1 | Tzeentch is tough and shooty but slow (with fearless units in the form of 1k Sons), whilst Undivided has more options and has a nice re-roll morale if you take Icons of Chaos Glory.

Blog Entries: 1 | well yeah if you give something a transport it wont be slow, but for your usual ground pounders the Tzentch cult troops are the slowest ones around.

| I like undivided because the best (IHMO) unit in the entire CSM army is the Standard CSM Squad. What I can I say? I like CSM. Not to mention I think Thousand Sons are too expesnive points wise. Don't ask why, but I don't like the idea of a single wound sorceror in every single one of my troop squads. If I were to get a cult unit appart from my plaguemarines it'd be Noise Marines or 'zerkers... never Ksons.

Blog Entries: 1 | If you like shooty, Tzeentch is the way to go. Plus they are tough. I suggest making your own warband, with some 1kSons sprinkled in.

Blog Entries: 1 | I'd like to see someone do Tzeentch based army with lots of Oblits and shooty Termies, and some Daemons and Spawn.
