|  Chaos God Mixer Man is it just me or do I always come up with strange titles for my posts... any who on to the important issue. OK, I have pored over the new Chaos Codex and can't find a single ruling that states a character with a Mark is not allowed to join a squad with a Icon from a different Chaos god. Can this be true? Oh please Oh please tell me this is ture. I have delusions of a DP of Tzeentch roming around with a Squad of Raptors with the Undivided type Icon thingy. /drool ohh man that would be sweet. I almost have an armylist together for a tourny that is coming up in the end of April I will post it for comments/suggestions/critiqueing a bit later today or tomorrow. Servo PS: If I can't do the above Idea with the DP and the Rapters, then would some one please let me know what page number that ruling is on so as I can read it for my self. Thanks all. |

 | Re: Chaos God Mixer there is no restriction of this type, though bear in mind other rules restrictions such as majority toughness with Nurgle/non nurgle mixes also though, hadn't thought about it before but with your mixing of Glory and Tzeentch, i'm not sure if the unit could use the Glory benefit with the Tzeentch ICs Ld.

My list is including 2 units of rapters and I was just wondering if there was anything against "hiding" a IC in the unit so that his life expectancy is prolonged and on top of that he can roam around with a squad that boasts 2 specail weapons in them. | Re: Chaos God Mixer Wait, I think I got lost somewhere in the question... hahah regaurdless, to add onto it, is it possible for a Slaanesh Chaos lord to join a tzeentch-icon carrying squad of chosen, and they benefit from his icon as well as their own? |

| Re: Chaos God Mixer thats a much more complicated, but here is my take: as long as the icon is still in play, it benefits the whole squad - if the lord joins that squad, then he is part of the squad, and so yes - but i highly doubt an FAQ would support this

| Re: Chaos God Mixer In the Chaos Codex pg 81 it states that independent chracters do NOT gain the benefit if they join the squad so that answers one of the questions. However I can not find any where that states an independant character, with the mark of Tzeentch for example, can't join a unit with the Icon of Nurgle or Khrone or any other icon for that matter. Does any one else agree or disagree with this. Can my Sorcerer Lord with wings join the unit of Raptors with the Icon of Chaos Glory and fly around the board, or do I need to keep him back away to protect him? Servo

| Re: Chaos God Mixer I think you have a relevant strategy there, he can join that unit and the units have to move like the character so i don't see why not. I have the Codex as well and as far as I can read there shouldn't be a restriction.
