i'd bump that devi squad upto 7 marines simply to give yourself a couple of ablaitive wounds before you start losing those precious heavy weapons!

and lose the artificar armour on garro unless you're using the pre-heresy rules from bell of lost souls. having to use the mixed armour rules only makes garro snipable!

The mixed armour rule is heavily in Garro's favour. it's always worst save first, with ties STILL going to the worst. He's the last to drop in ANY encounter

Besides, he was also doing the fluf approach. And the over-plate Garro has in flight could only be represented by Artificer armor. And since I believe he intends to run Garro with a squad of terminators (if they're still there), he'll be fine.

well, just be aware that the first 6 wounds of each 'set' will go against the honour guard as normal... however, if your opponent causes say, 7 wounds, now you *must* take a seperate save for garro!

once your squad has lost a couple of bodies, it does make him pretty targetable, especially with say rapid fire or perhaps a heavy bolter-laden tank/squad!
the worst case senario; against some special units like sisters who have their acts of faith, garro can be picked out by things like bolters/flamers under the influance 'devine guidance'.

while most opponent's won't ever clue in as too the mixed armour rules and make them work in their favour, there are still a few clever, clever players out there who might catch you on that!

This is not an army I intend to win with at all costs.
I'm doing this to keep the feel of the army "Fluffy"

(If I wanted to be an arse though I could keep Garro as an IC and just 'Screen' him with the Command Squad, or another Tac Squad)

If I were to push this up to 1500 pts, what should I include?
More AT, was my idea. But what should it be?

autocannon pred perhaps, or an annihalator pred w/out sponsons to keep it good andcheap?
perhaps a razorback squad or two w/2x meltaguns???

or how about an assault squad without jump packs in a land raider?!!
