Blog Entries: 1 | hey all, first off i hope there isnt another topic on this here. i did a quick check and didnt see anything recent. and as i'm new to this site i wanted to get some different opinions on this. What do you prefer in your chaos army - deamonic flight or deamonic speed and why? personnally i'm a speed player. i've surprized more than a few players with what it can do to a hq unit thats tooled for hth. i think those who were most surprized were the folks who always played thier deamon princes with wings and were upset when they didnt make it to hth before being shot like crazy. anyone else?

| well, if you really want that 1st turn assault then it's d.speed all the way! 19"-24" range is just plain nasty, plus keep in mind that as an IC the lord/prince has 'move through cover' as standard so terrain is really a non issue for him... so for me, 9 times out of 10 i'd go with d.speed as it's also slightly cheaper too! (and we all know how important it is to be careful how we spend those prescious daemonic pts!) now, sometimes i would go flight but that's simply for; a) modeling purposes b) background for example, i'd love to model a word bearers dark apostle using saint celestine's angelic cape! obviously d.flight would be in order on such a model! cheers!
