[Dravenguild]

I earlier this year took out an entire ravenwing, 4000 point battle.

3rd turn took out the stupid and overpowered sammael master of the ravenwing whatever with his 14 all around landspeeder. (That thing was a natural born bullet magnet)

then the other 7 landspeeders dropped like flies as his ground marines got hopskotched by my command squad as his bikers got devastated by my vindicator and 6 man terminator squad (one assault cannon mind you)

by the end of the game all dark angels were dead while i retained 2 complete ten man tactical squads, 1/2 of a assault squad (10 man) a rhino, razorback, 1/3 of my command squad and a single dreadnought.

it felt good to destroy those greenskins. I hate dark angels the most out of anything in warhammer.

it was when i was ork crazy my looted basilisk scored 3 Ord Pen 6's on 3 Rhinos on 3 consecutive turns one of them being a command rhino with a Decked out Wolf Lord with a 8 man Decked out wolf guard bodyguard about 500-600 points

Hmm, mine is actually the parallel opposite of yours Dravenguild. About 5 weeks ago I played a Imperial Fists army in a 2500 point battle. I fielded 2000 points of Deathwing and 500 points of Ravenwing. By turn 5 all of his squads were either falling back or got wiped out. My total casualties were 1 bike, 1 wound on Belial, and the VenDread lost his assault cannon. Best game ever.

There was also this one time I chainfisted a leman russ tank, it exploded and killed the IG platoon hiding behind it...but that's another story.

Got to love those Dark Angels.

hm, once one of my tac squads was limping across the back lines, because my opponent's harlequins were sweeping into my right flank [OUCH ! i lost an entire tac squad in that combat, lol]

and so the squad [6 men, 1 flamer 1 meltagun, vet sergeant with powerfist, now whittled down to 4 bodies] moved towards the left for a turn. i aimed all the bolters [why not ?] against my opponent's avatar, to no avail. he moves closer, uses wailing doom once for each of the two turns following, killing another marine, then charges [gulp!] hahaha as it turns out, he rolls dozens of ones for the next few combat turns. i lose marines until the squad is down to two members, and those two poor marines survive for another 2 turns of combat ! haha until my commander came in to help, and we killed the avatar [the game was eventually lost] :P

My most disappointing match was the first chaos player i ever played (3rd edition dex, not with two black legionnaires on the front) in 98' or 99' and i used 15 tactical marines, 1 vindicator, 5 terminators and a chaplain.

He used one khorne champion mounted on a juggernaut, summoned bloodletters and finished me on turn 4.

all this on a 4x6 table

it happened to be my second match, my first against an ork player and allied blood angels was much more successful.
