Default HQ choice

I'm looking for a cheap and effective HQ choice to replace my Tzeentch Daemon Prince for small battles. I need it to be 155 points max, and I was thinking Kharn the Betrayer or a Tzeentch lord. I prefer CC, but I like it to have some ranged firepower too. Any suggestions?

The Slaanesh sorcerer sounds good, but I need something dedicated to Tzeentch (I have Bezerkers, Plague Marines, and Slaanesh Raptors, I need to squeeze Tzeetch in there somewhere, and the only spot I can is a HQ slot.).

those things can do terrible damage, it took out my damn dreadnought T.T it used the lash then they moved in the lord and sorceror of slaanesh and they stunned him once then took him down next turn

sorceror with mark of tzeench is expensive though... Doombolt and warptime would be a wiser investment for infantry stopping power, and throw in a jump pack/bike and melta bombs for tackling those pesky tanks.

sorceror with jump pack and doombolt costs the same as sorceror with mark of tzeentch...

Hmmm. I like Sorcerer with jumpack, because I have some cool parts for it. Just gotta figure out how to best outfit him. I don't really need antitank capability, I want him as a troop killer. Suggestions?

doombolt range 18" assault 3 ap3 S4.

but I'd give him the meltabombs as well...

So Sorceror with Doombolt, jump-pack and meltabombs - 135pts.

Not bad at all. Did you include the Mark of Tzeentch? It's not that important though, I'll just add it for larger battles.

With mark of tzeentch, up the cost above to 165..190 if you take warptime as well(though it lets you reroll all rolls to hit and to wound for that turn)...

Well without Warptime it's still cheaper than my DP. I'm not giving up on the Daemon Prince, I've had a lot of bad dice rolls with it lately, but I don't wanna use it in smaller battles, so this sounds like a good option.

yeah. the tzeentch mark gives you the 4+ inv save too, so it isn't too shabby I guess.
