Huron Blackheart and his Red Corsairs

Believe me I took full advantage of the CCW's in my game vs Cap at our local GW. Also 15 man squads would mean splitting the Bits as opposed to just having lots of 10 man squads. My army will be heavily overloaded with Chaos Bikers, I intend to max out my fast attack with these nastys.

The final army will consist of three squads of 10 Bikers. All of them tooled up. Down one flank will go the Nurgle Bikers whilst behind them the Khorn bikers. Down the other flank will go my other Khorne unit, although this is more to hold the flank than anything else.

OW! harsh, but effective. should be good to see how it all turns out, oh BTW of your thinking of doin some khorne bikers i might have a WD with some cool Khrone bikers in you might want to look at when you get 5.

Thanks Slow, but I have already started work and almost finished... my first Khorne biker =P The biker is painted like my other Corsairs' with a quartered front using Mechrite and Ice Blue. The biker is Painted on the same areas but with Red Gore and a Shining gold trim which is heavily washed with Chesnut Ink so it looks a bit more like Bronze. His base is done too so If you are in on saturday then you shall see it in all its Khornate glory!

Your gonna get the stick! I don't find it offensive, I've heard worse, but it is crude. Some may be offended though. Oh well, I'm to lazy to care. As to bikes, I don't particularly like em. Too expensive in points and not really spectacular at shooting or CC. Not the way I would go, but I can see how their speed could be quite a nuisance. I say if you can make them work, go for it Zeb! Give the Captain the what for, hehe!

If I was you, I would drop the possesed for noise marines with noise weaponsry if possible. I have a lot of experience with them, and very flexible shooty unit.

Sold my Possessed. And I was planning on having those anyways. I think it says somewhere. If i did then I would also get a Chaos Lord give him the mark of slaanesh and a Demon Weapon though. Blissgiver = Instant Death if you fail your armour save. So great is your orgasm you die xD That is basically the fluff behind it.

I don't like Possessed myself, but imagine them with the Icon of Khorne. Pretty nasty, especially if ya get a good Daemonkin roll.

Well my Red Corsairs have been shrunk. 20 bikers in the 1500 pts and thats all they go to.

The book is "Into the Maelstrom" by Marc Gascoigne and Andy Jones. It was first published in 1999, and is quite OOP now, but I've found it for around $7.00 on eBay and Amazon. The fluff on Huron in the 2nd ed. Dex is also good, though the description of Huron is slightly different than that in the new Dex.
