Default Spawn arms?

Just wondering if Chaos Spawn arms will work on power armour CSM. Are they the right size?

Well, I was gonna get some from the Warstore with a bit trade-in, but I saw a pic in my codex, I'm thinking they might be too large.

well in the WD where the new CSM came out theres a 1:1 sprue breakdown. if you can get your hands on that, itll show you the right scale

the arms are very different and come in loads of different sizes

Well, I gotta get some Spawn eventually anyway, although I don't particuarly like them or Daemons. However, there is something to be said for the joy of turning an opponet into a gibbery blob.

spawn arme a quite a bit bigger than marine arms. hell, some of the spawn arms are bigger than a whole marine

why you don't like spawn DK? being able to move and charge potentially 24" in a single turn is not something to pass up easily. they may not do too well against MEq armies but they'll cut up ig eldar and tau rather well

oh, and on the point of daemons, they may not be able to move the turn they deep strike but they can launch an assult. handy thing to remember that

the stats are no worse than anything else in the dex. sure the save ain't that great but it is invuln so it ain't that bad either.

why charge when you can deepstrike three multi-meltas within half range of your enemy's precious bullet magnet?

because charging doesnt just kills enemies... it ties them up. how many devastators can you kill with 3 melta guns? how long can you tie that same dev squad up in combat for? theres more to charging than just killing guys. some of the best (non Iron Warriors ) armies ive seen use bucket loads of daemons

Maybe, but those guys don't fight tau on a regular basis. Nice idea though, I must try it sometime.

Right, thanks for the tips Hairy. Ok guys, here is the reasons I dislike Spawn:
No save
I normally fight DA and Necrons, and the Spawn's WS and Int. are low.
Expensive models.
There are some good points, like being dirt cheap in points and awesome models.

The only real gripe I have with Daemons is being able to use only Generic ones. I used a Bloodthirster on a regular basis with the 3rd ed. dex, and I loved it. Daemons would be real nice for me now, as they can DS on icons that are mounted in armour (say Abbadon's person icon in a LR). The only way I'll use them now is if the Daemon codex allows CSM to use them, but I don't think that will happen. Like I said, I may pick up Spawn so I can change my enemies into them!
