| Well all, its that time of year. That is, the time of year where everyone is christmas shopping. ANd well, I am doing so, for myself and my bro. I am planning on getting a big order from Ikarus (yes, I will be sending you a PM soon, man) and well... I was wondering what to buy. As you guys know, I am in the process of building a CSM, slightly nurgle based (IE if I have cult troops, they will be Nurgle... or Khorne.... maybe khorne). Now, the question is, WHAT DO I BUY? I have 10 Space Marines (not Chaos) 5 Assault Marines, A Loyalist Dreadnought that I might count as a Dread w/ autocannon and a termie chaplain, 10 Space Marines w/ ccw, and a commander already. Now... I was thinking, if I bought a Rhino, a box of CSM, and a box or two of Plague Marines (are they metal?). Now, I did think the Battleforce was nice, but I wasn't to excited about the Khorne Bershekers... So, suggestions? Thoughts? Ideas?

Blog Entries: 4 | a chaos rhino with troops (perhaps one of the apocalypse boxed sets?) would be good, as you could use bits from the chaos vehicle sprue to fancify your loyalists (normal CSM come with plety of trophies and such). Other than that, a chaos predator is always a good investment. possibly a termie lord with lightning claws (or failing that, give your current commander a jump-pack/wings).

| yep those plague marines are indeed metal! anyways, i always like to build my army to a set army list... that way, i know exactly what to buy! still though, you really can't go wrong with a predator destructor. great for clearing out hoards of infantry, and they're not too shabby against MEQ's either as they throw out a tonne of shots. or else get some possessed and start turning those loyalist scum into proper chaos marines! cheers!

Blog Entries: 5 | If you want the metal plague marines, or plague marines at all, either get them now or hold off. I think FW is supposed to be coming out w/ some, though D_C would be the man to go to on this! As for advice.. Convert your own plague marines. Great way to hone your skills, and if it looks disgusting, that's ok.. A. It's Chaos IT DOESN'T HAVE TO MAKE SENSE!!! and B. It's Nurgle... IT SHOULD LOOK BAD! Buy? Buy a baneblade or the new Chaos army box.

| dont let your eyes off him for a minute. you look the other way and then suddanly you feel a draft in your chest and wondering why the man is holding a peice of still-beating meat in your face.... but yea. what i would do for plague marines is to buy both normal CSM and the metal guys. you can convert the CSM better when you have the plague marines for referance, and then you can use the metal guys for things like chosen, aspiring champions, stuff like that. but if you are just starting a nurgle army, you dont want to get a baneblade. save stuff like that for when you have a good 3k list, not when youre just starting out. as for bezerkers, theres nothing wrong with using them and plague marines in the same army. Khorne and the Big Papa have no beef between them [nurgles beef would be all maggoty anyway, while khornes would be, of course, rare (BFTBG!!) ] but if you want a more nurgly force you can always have your chosen and lord with marks of nurgle. the bezerkers are just friends. that way, you can get the battleforce and not have to worry about selling the bezerkers or converting them to plague marines. Plus, Bezerkers can be a good reserve force for your plague marines as well. |

| Hmm... well, the price is what is going to get me in the end. Its just such a better deal to buy a battleforce... Right now, I'm think of: 1 CSM Lord w/ jump pack (to go with my Raptors/Assault Marines) 1 Predator (probably destructor, might change) 1 Battleforce box If I have the money, I'll grab a plague marine box and more CSM later.

Blog Entries: 1 | I would definetly go with the Pred. Fun to build and pretty effective on the battlefield. If ya need some Chaos vehicle parts, let me know, I got tons. By the way Erus, what is this about Forgeworld Plague Marines? You must tell me more!
