Right. There was a short bit of fluff in the old CSM codex that was about a Khornate warrior who was hacking and slashing away, but he eventually fell to his wounds, and his own daemon sword took his life, and that Khorne didn't care whose blood flowed, so long as it flowed.

It's a classic debate. I myself prefer to look at Khorne as the humans from the Classical and earlier ages of the real world viewed many of their War Gods.. Multi Faceted and faced. The Celts come to mind, specifically with the Morrigan. As well as the Romans with Janus.

With Khorne, there is the slaughter fiend who thirsts for blood at any cost and there is the god or martial prowess and warrior pride, which in a galaxy bereft with war is a rampant enough cluster of emotions to span a God of the Warp I would think.
