I think this is bad news, we are going to get another price hike to pay for the cheap starter set. The thing is I dont need or want a starter set. Erus has seen the plastics and says they are top notch, but I am dubious, all starter set plaggys have neen second rate so far.

And with a hike that means tanks will go up another fiver ($10)

seems cheap for the weight of models in it, though keep in mind they will be 'low quality' BfSK/BfMc=style models, so even the dread, koptas etc will be 1-3 part models with less detail than their otherwise standard equivalent,

ninetheless, i'm very excited by this, as i love big starter boxes. makes me wish i was a kid opening one for christmas

from everything that i have heard, the only thing that will be the ugly sculpts is the tac squads and the ork mobs (not the nob mob). but still that is a lot of plastic. DOG BLESS THE ONLINE 25% RETAILERS!

no way are you gonne get the proper commander, plastic dread, terminators and all the other stuff + the clip together models for that little.

and as of right now, the deff koptas are staying a 'direct services only' thing... so yes, if you're looking into starting an ork army and know some friends who don't want their stuff, trade it up for those koptas!!!

im sure when that set comes out
ill have plenty of ork stuff sitting around
although seeing as i decided to go with Crimson fist
that set would appear on the market
about the time i was planning on working on my vets
so ill have plenty of trophy material
what ever is left over i will be trying to get rid of

on a side note i wonder if they will have the hardcover realease around GD chicago?
