the dark eldar are next everyone or at least coming up. right now they are releasing dark eldar wyches! this looooong awaited nip tuck of the worst models ever has finally come!

yea it was definitely surprising for me to see them in advanced orders on the USGW online store...but i second that: the old DE are the butt ugliest models i've ever seen made by GW...or probably any other major model company in the world, alas.

haha.

Erm, dont want to burst your bubble but those are the exact same Dark Eldar Wychs as have been available for the last 7 years. They've just put them in a box rather than having to get loads of blisters.

dam you baronspikey!!! i was so exited! i thought that they werent doing dark eldar until 2009! shot down.....*sigh*......o well. but this doesnt neccesarily mean that they arent doing them next. them, blood angels, and orks are the ones that need to be done next.

oooh congrats on becoming a custodian now, dan! but yea, i definitely think orks deserve some spiffying, they are so outdated! although the kommandos were some wicked models...haha

and if anyone needs to know, according to USGW harlequins AND RAVENWING BIKE SQUADS!! will be 35 USD. i smell victory! does anyone know if that will bring down the cost of normal SM bikes/scout bike squads? :]

to be honest, i quite like the dark eldar the way they are now.
The codex has some really dirty tricks that most oponents over look.
and with some very simple conversions from a basic dark eldar warrior kit, you can create alot of decent models.

(I mean dark elves are basically dark eldar, in which i mean they are perfect for converting.)

The only thing i dont like about it, is the fact that i cant make mandrakes, and the ones they have at the moment look they came from a very bad party.

the only models i dont like are wyches and madrakes. and wyches are easy to make, and mandrakes arent really that good...

It may be the lack of sleep, but what army? Dark Eldar? If so, I agree. The conversions are awesome! I may actually play them as a break from power armor.
