Just something of minor note. Forge World is releasing a book of new datafax things for Apocalypse using the FW rules.

Our preview this newsletter is for the upcoming book; Imperial Armour Apocalypse. This new hardback contains everything you`ll need to use your collection of Forge World models to fight apocalyptic battles in conjunction with Warhammer 40,000 Apocalypse. Imperial Armour Apocalypse can be also be used for Warhammer 40,000 and it replaces Imperial Armour Update 2006, plus it updates the Imperial Armour hardback books where necessary. The book is packed with 67 new datafaxes, covering our range from Imperial Guard super-heavy tanks like the Shadowsword, and Malcador, to the terrifying weapons of Chaos and their Daemon Lords, to the war machines of the Orks and Eldar and monstrous creatures like the Scythed Hierodule and Trygon.
There are also 25 new battle formations, including the Space Marine Drop Pod assault force, Ork Tanka Mobs, Eldar Serpent Rider Hosts, Winged Tyranid Swarms and Tau Pathfinder Search and Destroy Cadre to the Necron Undying Legion and the Chaos Deathclaw Talon wing.

Those minis are so cool, but i have no idea how there rules look like

All of the old FW rules are designed for 40K, so this will update existing models for use with Appoc. For me personally the Eldar Scorp needs bringing in line.

im really excited to see what the Necron's Undying Legion entails, because that is one hell of an inspiring name and they were pretty under represented in the Apocalypse Rule Book.

I'm guessing at least one Pylon (otherwise it wouldn't be appearing in the FW book) and a horde of Warriors.

This isn't really an apocalypse book as such, more like "Imperial Armour Update 2007 - but only for non-codex represented vehicles and constructs"

i just try to be factful and realistic - heck, I was dubious about apocalypse even existing back early this year when the mutterings first began.

Actually it is the FW expansion for APoc...just another set of rules for the FW line specifically tailored for APoc...as for update 2007?...well it's actually gonna be 2008 and there are supposed to be updates for several models that didn't make it into the last update...that is of course just a rumor...we just have to wait and see...

the undying legion sounds like a phalanx of warriors and immortals + lord that gets some kind of extra save or a WBB reroll (WBB reroll would be SICK!!)

ForgeWorld do drop pods. Thus, drop pod datasheet formation.
