Yeah, but the selection is sparse, at the least.

from my understanding, here's what's going on regarding the whole 'bitz packs' issue;
- we've got a very few of the 'no-brainer' packs like the shoulder pads for pretty much every marine army right now...
- over the next year'ish or so, GW direct services is taking a general Q&A regarding which kinds of bitz packs people would like to have available...
then, they'll add in a whole slew of new packs which should pretty much equate out to what we used to be able to get/do.

now, i have heard a rummor that the next set of 'bitz packs' will be a variety of various mounts like say, 5 cold ones or 5 bret warhorses...

hope this helps!
cheers!

just something we monkies have heard... it might be true, who knows!

i know for sure though that it won't happen untill after the new dark elf release in august! but still, i'm also really hoping that this does indeed pan out as it would make converting my knights of morr far, far easier!

cheers!

bitz packs are a pretty good idea, but i dont like how they took certain ones ( the iron hands range ) and put it all in one to were i cant buy just a certain thing ( like iron hands legs ).

i suspect that eventually there will be a proper bitz pack for them... likely something like 5 or so sonic blasters/pack or perhaps 4 blasters + 1 blastmaster/pack...

ALOT! of chaos players have been crying for that pack to come out!!!

cheers!

Yeah, the noise marines need the sonic blasters pack badly. But then again, since I'd imagine most players would tool up their noise marine squad with sonic blasters over bolters anyway, I'd have thought they'd have simply put more sonic blasters in the box. *shrugs* The bitz pack would remedy it just as well though.

Eh... I don't like it much. Now if I wanted a squad of Iron Warriors, I'd have to spend $30 on the IW conversion kit (for 10 IWs), $35 on the Chaos Marines box, and then another $8 on the shoulder pads. That's a LOT of money for just 10 IWs. I'm sorry, I usually don't complain about this stuff... but it just seems like a way for GW to vacuum to cash out of our wallets.
