Bigger blast templates!!!!!!

My poor tyranids are going to feel that one....

Hmm, a £60 baneblade, thats a more respectable price. It would make a nice centrepiece for an army. Is this all for the release of codex apocalypse then?

WHY! WHY! WHY! WHY?????!!!

Yes, thats my opinion on codex: apocalypse... I want an ork update... then we can get bigger battles.

No offense to GW, and while, CoD was really cool.... big battles? Why?

Okay, plastic baneblade for a "reasonable" price could be neat (whats that in US dollars?? $100? or less?).

Plastic Drop Pods... I might get some if they're like $30-$40, but 50+... no way.

Eldar I have no idea, same as Orks, and DE.

Apparently the Baneblade and Valkyrie are all gonna be half their FW prices! Just imagine a £60 Baneblade! And it is finally affordable to take more than one Valkyrie, and worth it too!

These rules are designed for 4,000 point plus games (6000 points recomended), so these rules make the game alot faster. They said that there are some even bigger blast templates. Thats gonna be sweet!
Why do I see no Chaos on this list? WHY!?!

Oh, Chaos. I completely forgot about mentioning them! I think they might be getting their equivilent to a Drop Pod (no idea if thats correct though), or something else.

Oh, and not all of this will be released with Codex: Apocalypse. Its going to be more of an ongoing thing, so they'll release a few things with it (the things I've mentioned earliest on) and then make more FW stuff into plastic as time goes on. So it may be a few years before some things come out. I just really hope they do Eldar early!

As for release dates, the staff at the local store said it would either be at Christmas, or later. It's either the first book of Chaos (Undivided) or Apocalypse, though I think its leaning towards Chaos.

The games going to be much quicker too. They are gonna make it so you can play a 4000 points game in the time it takes to play a 2000 point game. Thats where the big blast templates come in.... (apparently the monolith gets one!)

codex: apocalypse is the end of this year from everything i've heard... (oh, you're really not going to like one of the new orky guns unless of corse you are an ork!)

from what i've gathered, the reason for the delay in the orky codex is the models - namely the problems they're having with the main vehicle kit...

cheers!

So codex: chaos will be broken up in to 5 books? If so, how how long will it take for the other books to be released?

100 posts, yay for me

umm i think the baneblade's plastic price translates to roughly 120 USD, not completely sure if that's accurate though. either way...bigger battles means more 40k! woohoo! :]

Yea, but biger blast template requires less skill I think. Ordnance blast templates I thought were quite big.....

So that means that all you need is some Uber big blast template weaponry, and a load of ass cannons and that a super Cheesey army!

Cag is not impressed.....
