| Default FAQ released for Eldar and Chaos At UKGW site. GW Online : News : Errata Here're some interesting bits......First for Eldar. -Avatars, if not clearly mentioned, are also immune to Incinerators or Inferno Pistols. -2 Autarchs CAN add a maximum +2 to the Reserve rolls. -No Skyleap if falling back for Hawks. And now Intercept only works against vehicles without WS. -HWP don't take up space in transports. -You can transfer the Prism beam to ANY Prisms even out of 60", BUT now they can't do so if shaken/stunned. Bugger. They still fire the secondary arms though. -WS' Energy Field has nothing to do with Tank Hunters. -Spiders can jump even after DS. -Wraithguards in transports still need to test for Wraithsight, and if they fail the test while their transports destroyed, teh whole squad DESTROYED. -Veil of Tears. Barrage also need to test for spotting, Searchlights have no effects, if in NF firts pass the NF then VoT. Vibro Cannons or other similar atatcks can still hit them though. -Embolden can grant a re-roll of Psychic test if in the squad with Farseers. Now for Chaos part. -Kharn's Hit on 2+ now only do so against enemy with WS! Ha ha! But his Bless of Bloog God can still work against permament powers like VoT or Psychic Scream. -No Warptime if the psyker is DSing that turn. -Nurgle Bikes are indeed T4(6). Duh. -LASH. It says that it's treated as a normal move, not slowed by DT. All models can be moved up to the distance rolled, can't out of unit coherency, can't move out of combat, still take Dangerous Terrain test, Jump Infantry can move with either Jump Pack or on foot (mover's choice), can't enter impassable terrain, out of table nor 1" of enemy models. A unit can be hit 1+ times as long as they aren't pinned. -It states that DP with MoT can use 2 psychic powers taht treated as shooting. So perhaps they fixed that for 5th. -Ahriman can only use shooting psychic powers once per urn, so no more multiple BoC. GoC can still work multiple times. -Typhus' weapon is a Plaguebringer and FW. He only can use the FW attack once though, but he can use another his psychic power in addition to FW. -Lucius' wounds suffered by No Retreat can't harm enemy models. -"Wings" =/=Jump Infantry (only allows them to move like JI) and must be modelled properly. From these written stuff, it seems that they're clearing these up for 4th rather than preparing for 5th. So what's really the point of handing these out if they don't seem fit 5th? |
