| Re: talked to a guy at GW on the phone today i dont think that it would be gaurd although I know a new codex is in order for the next two years and I asked him he said he dosent think they are planing on releasing a new gaurd codex till the middle of 09. summer. |

| Re: talked to a guy at GW on the phone today they are not very commonly played...the dual whammies of 1) butt ugly models and 2) power that is difficult to command well/models that drop like flies if poorly played means that they're just not that popular. at least right now. i know of a few veteran gamers who tote devastating DE armies, capable of carving other armies to ribbons before their opponent can react enough. i think they could use a new dex and a new set of models. the recent upgrade from similarly butt ugly models of the VC for WHFB is proof, these old armies NEED the face lift. NOW. haha :]

| Re: talked to a guy at GW on the phone today The Dark Eldar codex is to come out before the end of the year. I hope they do not change the rules too much, but would love to see new plastic wyches and grotesques. Mwahahaha. I saw 2 early sculpts of the two new Haemunculus models. They are Sweeeet.

| Re: talked to a guy at GW on the phone today I could see a DE coming out they need one for sure. gaurd factions like the marine orders seems like a good idea marines have em orks have em. it would be nice. but they did the doctorines already. I do not see optional special rules and specual list rules and units. On the othere hand if they did do something like this with our codex I would think it would be either or. IE you can use doctorines but if you do you can not play the special orders and thusly do not have access to whatever special units they may offer and vice versa play a special list you can not take doctorins.. I would like to see them come out with a special sodex for trators that list tat kid has up looks mighty interesting |

Alien hunters isn't on the radar, since the focus is on updating current army lists rather than starting new ones. This means Dark Eldar, Guard and Space Wolf players are going to be happy. Jes Goodwin is already throwing around some concepts for Dark Eldar plastics. DE IS IN THE WORKS there is no disputing this and as soon as they get redone im starting to collect a new army |

These are the armies that are being done soon. It's Dark Eldar first and marines last I think. The Necron codex is old and is annoying to use. But DE are butt ugly and annoying to use.

Blog Entries: 1 | Re: talked to a guy at GW on the phone today Keep in mind SW are before the current SM list and it gives them a big starting point for the SM 'dex as most of the stuff is there, just new fluff and different names. It will give them the chance to test out any new twists on old SM gear before it becomes 'official' SM gear. As if they bump bolters up a Str/Ap level in SW and it works in testing but no for real gamers. THen they can edit it out in 'dex SM.

| Re: talked to a guy at GW on the phone today dark eldar have been an on-going project for the past 3 years or so... basically, they require the same kind of absolute overhaul that the wood elves needed for fantasy. (which was a 5 year long project btw) guard are likely getting plastic greatcoats as they're shiny new plastic kit. dark elves are also coming soon, along with chaos daemons & mortals for fantasy... cheers!
