 |  Transport & squad release! theyre out finnally! they look really cool they dont have a full squad, but they are a much better deal then a seperate buy For example: 2 wave serpent & dire avenger boxes = 140 2 Eldar Dire Avengers & Wave Serpent boxes & 1 dire avengers box = 125 heres what they contain: marines-razorback, 5 marines chaos-rhino, 5 marines guard-chimera, 10 guardsmen eldar-wave serpant, 5 dire avengers dark eldar-raider, 5 warriors tau-devilfish, 8 fire warriors seems like a pretty good deal overall, though they dont contain full squads (which sucks) marines get the best deal, cause razorbacks can only carry 6 men total anyway.

| actually, the 'official' release isn't untill saturday! if you've pre-ordered them on-line or else if there's an independant store then they might ship/sell them early... i'm going to be bagging me 2 of those nifty eldar boxes for sure! (i love it when the stuff i really want co-incides so perfectly with payday!  )cheers!

| well, for those loyalist & chaos marine players who are wondering, you get the old upgrade sprues in the box... so loyalists get the rocket launcher, flamer and the 3rd edition 'yelling' sergeant head, while chaos players get their original 3.5 edition plastic frame. keep in mind last time we ran these deals you didn't get those so GW it seems have learned their lesson after all the complaints! cheers!

| These are mostly just repackaged goods remember, apart from the slight change that Stitch has mentioned, and the replacement Eldar version, I believe they are all identical to last years - which they still have a couple of in GW Glasgow if memory serves, tho they may have been sent back for repackaging. Probably the most "complete" unit out of them is the Guards Armoured Fist Squad.

| the deals are simply splash releases for the xmas shopping season... however, considering how popular they are, it seems like they'll become a fairly permantent xmas feature! (just like those bundel deals!) cheers!

| wait...so permanent or not permanent ? i was hecka worried earlier cause they were sneak peeked during the release of apoc, at which point the USGW's apoc site wasn't complete, and so i think it said they were direct only/limited release...guess not ? UGHH I WANT SO MANY OF THOSE ARMORED FIST SQUADS! hahaha i run 5 chimeras full of guardsmen in my 1k guard list :P

| well, the fun thing is a get to lay dibs to my stuff tomorrow night as we stock the shelves! in total i plan to buy; 2x eldar sets 1x space marine set i was thinking of buying a dark eldar one too, but that cash is needed to pay for a large LotR bitz order i need to make for our upcoming campaign! (stupid plastic lotr figs being so damn fragile and breaking all the time...) cheers!
