yea i agree with erus.
theres nothing wrong with the new BBB that i can see
updating codices should be a bigger priority

overwatch=stupid amd cheesy from what ive read about it (4th edition came out right about when i started getting into 40k. i was a WFB guy before that)

dark eldar=for the love of the 4 powers update them before you go to 5th edition...

no big inquisition book=BLARGGHHHH!!!!!!

only SW, Dark Eldar, Necrons and ImpGuard - the latter two of which are basically already 4th ed.

New IG codex and models would be sweet. Like to see changes in the rules, but not a new rulebook. No Inquistion? Sucks goat balls. However, like Erus said, I would not read too much into it. I do hope they get rid of the Dark Eldar. They are LAME.

don't worry kenshin! while there are plans for a new core set which will contain alot more models than what you currently get, it's still a bit off!!!
go ahead and get that shiny black rulebook my friend. you'll still have a good bit of use from it yet!

consider the releases so far;
january: codex orks
february: LotR stuffs
march: vamp counts
may: daemon codex
summer: big fantasy secret plans!
fall/winter: space pups???

cheers!

The Dark Eldar are a permanent fixture. The only lame thing about them is their models - the Wyches, Scourges, Talos, Reavers, Raiders and Ravagers are fine - but the Warriors are pants, the Incubi static, Warp Beasts plain daft, the Grotesques rubbish, Haemonculus dull and Lords silly.

The Dark Eldar are, quite deservedly, here to stay - but they are in dire need to the new miniatures range that's just a year or two away now.

i'd say at least a year and a half still before we see anything definitive about the dark eldar...

however, talking with gav thrope back in may, he hinted heavily at the idea that the dark eldar will become slightly more chaotic in the end with more spikes and an even crueler disposition!
while they're not 'chaos eldar', they will really show off the true depths to which the eldar psychie can plunge and will likely offer a better outlook on how the eldar acted during the final days before the fall!

cheers!

and from what we red shirts have heard, it sounds like jess goodwyn is leading the model concept development instead of silly gary 'i ruin everything i touch' morley!

if there's a really ugly model, chances are it was a gary morley hack-job...

cheers!

haha aww sad...what other models did he do ?
but i'll definitely be looking forward to that DE release...as well as the new vampire counts. both armies are respectable [okay, DE are downright FEARED sometimes] but have horrifically ugly models and a codex that looks like it was printed shortly after the gutenberg Bible...:P thanks for all the info too stitch :]

A greatcoat is a coat that covers the entire body from your feet to your neck look at the old valhallen models or the Forgeworld Dk for examples

Don't wait by all means jump right on in grab the macragge set for a better value atm or get the big shiny rule book(inq army page misprint is funny)

WHAT!!! *shank shank*
dark eldar are one of the coolest races in the game! they suck now because or their terrible models and super old rules. once they get re-released, and all of the publicity that comes with that, i assure you many people will start them. they are one of the toughest armies to play effectively and is a good vet army. the only reason i dont use them now is cause theyre so old.

Is it true what GW says? Dark Eldar is the best if you use them right?
