Default Daemon Weapon Wounds in CC Resolution

Typhus took a wound rolling a 1 for number of attacks and failed invo's. Two space marines did not do any wounds, however did the wound from the Daemon Weapon count for the Space Marines combat resolution?

yes, there is no distinction between who causes the wounds, just the number of wounds caused when resolving a combat

chaos is a fickle isn't it?! yep, daemon weapon wounds do count towards combat resolution. that's why you shouldn't really send anyone into an assault unsupported!
still, IIRC isn't typhus fearless?!! if so, he'd only take an extra wound or three depending on how badly outnumbered he is. with a 2+ save, he isn't likely to go down.

cheers!

Ok then under page 43 of the rule book to decide who won combat total up the number of wounds from each side, what side dose a perils of the warp count for if Typhus fails?

And the normal force weapon dose perils of the warp can that model that failed count as scoring a wound on itself and win combat if the other squad dose no wounds?

a) any wound/s caused by things like perils count towards your opponent's combat res as it's your models taking the wounds!

b) if typhus causes say 3 wounds total but then pooches his force weapon psychic test and takes a wound himself, as long as your opponent only causes 1 wound in total, typhus still wins the combat as it'll be 3 vs 2 total wounds scored...

cheers!
