Blog Entries: 5 | I thought i knew the awnser to this but after Re-Reading the Deepstrike and Reserves rules i am unsure. When do you deploy your deep striking models? Before Movement? During Movement? After Movement? anyone know for sure and have a pg # for me to refrence?

| Pg.84 of the BBB 'Troops arriving by Deep Strike may not move or assault on the turn they arrive. They may shoot as normal, but count as having moved" My interpretation of this to assume that Deep Striking occurs in the movement phase. |

| deep strike happens at the begining of the turn itself, as it is classed as deployment. so, you roll for your reserves. for each unit/s that makes their roll, you place 1 model anywhere on the table which then acts as the entry point. you roll your scatter and then deploy the rest of the unit. (provided they haven't run into any misfortunes!) once all your deep strikes have been deployed, you then start your movement phase... so a 40k turn is really; 1) reserves/deployment 2) movement 3) shooting 4) assault. hopefully the 5th edition book will better define this and basically organise the turn sequence similar to fantasy! (ie: compulsery moves for deep strike & then remaining moves for everyone else...) cheers!
