| Trooper ![]() | Okay, there seems to be some confusion between me and my friend on the firing of this weapon. In the guard codex, it says to place the template so that it covers as many models as possible. The owner of my local game store told me that because of how this is stated, you can orientate the template however you want to cover as many models as possible. Is this true? I know lots of people on this board have played in tournys and such so I figured it'd be a good place to ask ![]() |

| you must always align the template so that it is; a) within range and line of sight! b) covers as many enemy models as possible while still obaying the above conditions! this means it can be a very bad thing to try and roast a squad you're about to assault as you can very, very easily leave yourself out of assault range! best targets for the inferno cannon is to try and bbq a nearby enemy squad that might lend support and counter-charge you in your opponent's turn! cheers!
