Do Monstrous Creatures block line of site of another Monstrous Creatures?

Example : can I run up 2 shooty fex side by side and hide my CC fex behind them and block line of site?

yes, they are considered a level three model and block line of site just as good if there were rhino's instead of carnifexs.

All monsterous creatures block line of site...where as a vehicle doesn't block line of site from a monserous creature...(I think that's how it goes...)
and fex's pretty much count as moving hills anyways...LMAO

negative the ever vast and loop hole book of rules describes all vehicles and monsterous creatures as level 3. a baneblade, rhino, carnifex, and a 20 story building are all the same height.

well, there's nothing to stop you from classing that 20-story building as a size 4 peice of area terrain!

but yes, rhinos, land raiders, predators, monoliths, chimeras, russ', immolators, dreads, penitent engines, sentinels, carnifexes, tyrants, daemon princes and anything else i can't rime off the top of my head! are all treated as size 3 objects, so each blocks LOS to other size 3 and smaller units/terrain.

if you and your opponent decide to do it, you could have something that counts as size 10 terrain!

there's no upper limit to actual terrain sizes - only models are reletively restricted. (ie: i'd personally call superheavies size 4 as they are clearly bigger than anything else!)

Make sure you keep everything straight though. Monstrous Creatures block line of site not their bases. In this version of the rules it does not state that you cannot draw sight through bases. In fact the rules for line of site state that you can see over and through models. Also height is only taken into effect when models are in hand to hand when drawing line of site.

Also my biggest thing with line of sight, not related to Monstrous Creatures. Do not assign height to pieces of terrain that are not classified as area terrain. Hill with no forest on it = no height, big rock in the way = no height. For anything that is not classified as area terrain by you and your opponent you do not give it a height level and you merely draw a direct line of site.
