|  New Codex deamon weapon Does anyone else find it strange that Grater Deamons and deamon princes cannot have a deamon weapon. The only ones I can see that can have a Deamon weapon is a Chaos Lord and the special characters. |

| the greater daemons & daemon princes in codex chaos space marines are simply generic, run-of-the-mill types... the proper 'uberfied ones will be in codex; daemons coming out early next year... (after orks, before late spring/early summer) besides, they don't need a daemon weapon anyways! you can't instantly kill a prince anymore, and greater daemons are just shock assault units to terrify your opponent with! cheers!

| yea greater deamons are quite intimidating unless you TELL someone "hey btw this is were my GD is coming out" a guy i played against did that....i was just like "erm....ok....thanks?" but yes as stitch said the uber ones are in the Forces of Chaos dex next year. not like i would take the khorne deamon weapon....way to easy to kill yourself! |

| basically what i've gathered is that the chaos marine 'dex deals with the 'weaker' daemonic entities... the daemon prince in the 'dex is simply a mortal who's been fairly recently, (in space-time terms!) elevated to daemonhood. all the really ancient and more powerfull daemons such as the true cult daemons and proper greater daemons and such is going to be in the daemonic codex... besides, for the most part, the chaos marines themselves use daemons as sacrifical shock troops! (especially the word bearers  ) chaos marines don't think twice about summoning a daemonic legion and then letting it catch all the bullets...daemons do have feelings too! they don't like always being made into fodder like the guard as it depresses them!  cheers!
