| Adeptus Primarch ![]() ![]() ![]() | Heres an explanation for you: The large blast template is the area which deep striking troops occupy when they land on the battlefield. Teleporting troops (same effect but remember if they're teleporting or using some other method- VERY important) can use the aid of a teleport homer already on the battlefield to ensure that the usual dangers of scattering are avoided as the template which they arrive 'in' is placed with the centre over the model holding the/a teleport homer. Example: Terminators can use a Teleport Homer, Assault Marines cannot. I hope thats helped somewhat.

| to make it simplier. if there is a homer in your army deepstriking units can land 6 inches away and never have to roll for scatter. anywhere else and they can scatter

| because termies are deep striking from a battleship in orbit. assault squads are deep striking from a thunderhawk 25 meters above the battlefield. they just float down on their jump packs

| because you got wind differences. sgt. johnson's left vent tends to lean towards the left. brother marcus ate some beans and made his own jet stream. to cut the funny same reason a parachuter never truely lands on target

| ok, you guys seem confused. T-homers are used by TELEPORTING deep strikes. its differant then an assault squad or landspeeder. under the terminator rules, they say that the squad can teleport. a character or sarge buys the homer, and the squad is PLACED within 6'' of the model with the homer. no scatter at all. any DS unit cant use it, they HAVE to say that they are teleporting. |
