3. pts wise it all depends on your opinion, looking at their rules without comparing value for 'money' then Grey Knights are far superior.

4. not unless the army has taken the appropriate Traits.

5. they can board after they've deep striked without difficulty.

Cap-E-Tan is the leader of the particular Company your feilding. (ex Co. Commander *US Army*) you could feild a commander in standard power armor or termie.... pts decision to be made

Items W/ T may only be used by minis w/ terminator honors *not necessarily IN termie armor*

Not sure what you mean here...a captain/chapter master has normal power armour as standard but you can give him Termie armour from the armoury.

The T sign indicates weapons and items which can be used by models in terminator armour, termies cannot take any wargear which does not have the T sign

That's a matter of personal opinion.

You need to take the appropriate traits for the army before you can give termie suit to normal sergents, even those with terminator honours.

5.Can they board a LR even f they deep strick?
The Land raider would have to be taken as a seperate heavy support choice (ie. undedicated transport)

that model is so you've got the option of equipping the captain/commander with terminator armour, or it could be a cool terminator sergeant nothing more.

ken, there's no difference between a temie captain ( the one in the pic you showed us) and a normal captain other than the termie one is in termie armour. either model can be used as the army's commander.

He's just a normal captain/chapter master model.
You'll need to buy the termie armour as an upgrade for him from the armoury.

Or you could use the model as a leader for your termie squad.

answers:

1) any space marine character, (commander or chaplain or librarian) can buy terminator armour at the indicated pts cost.

2) anyone can use any item unless the item has specific limits. (such as the chainfist being listed as "terminators only".)
models in terminator armour however may only select weapons & wargear with the 't' symbol next to them!

3) regular space marine termies have much greater tactical flexability and options...
grey knights get incinerator/psycannon upgrade + they have either S6 power weapons or thunder hammer & storm shields...

both have their uses, though i've found grey knights, while extreamly characterfull, to be more of a luxury than an actual great unit!

4) no. the only exception is if your chapter has taken the 'sicons of mars' trait which allows single wound models to buy terminator armour from the armoury... (note that the 2nd printing now reads xxpts/ - )

5) as long as the land raider has not been bought as a dedicated transport for another unit!
keep in mind you can't move the turn you deep strike, so the tactical use of this idea is a bit doubtfull, unless the land raider is very close by!
