| Now before I go any further, just let me say I am very sorry if this has already been covered in Errata or any of the FAQs. Those update too fast for me to keep up with all of them. Back to the actual point, Hypothetically, lets say I'm organzing my forces for a game and have 100 points left over. Lets say that I purchase a Lieutenant with the following: -CSM Bike -Frag Grenades -Chaos Hounds x2 Now lets say that during the course of the game, my Lieutenant turbo-boosts 24" on his bike. According to the chaos hounds description, they will always "move at the same speed of their masters" (pg. 16 of the CSM codex). Assuming that that is the case, the hounds will also move 24". So, here's my question: what effect does this have on the hounds? Do they count as turbo-boosting also? Does their save become invulnerable? But, after all, they can't legally turbo-boost, seeing as they're not on bikes; does this mean they can still attack if they move into base contact with an enemy model? It seems unreasonable to make the hounds count as turbo-boosting, but it seems broken if a Chaos Lord could turbo-boost across the table and potentially get up to 12 attacks from up to 4 hounds. In fact, the whole matter of the hounds bounding 24" in a single turn seems totally unrealistic. Any help regarding this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again, R_B

| it sounds to me like the hound just turbo-boost. you know, they focus all their strengh in keeping up, so they can't akkack either, but the armor save would stay the same

Also, Take a look at a Normal Hound, they can bound 24 Meters in a matter of seconds, so im sure a Suped Up Hound from the Chaos could bound 24 Meters. So really, It could happen.

| as the hounds will always move at the same speed as their master, they will therefor move 24" too if their owner turbo-boosts and will thus gain all the benifits (and disadvantages!) of turbo-boosting... now, if a chaos character has say a spawn or thrall wizard follower, then they can no longerturbo boost and will be forced to move at the speed of their unit's slowest member! cheers!

| no they don't get the invulnerable save because they "move at the same speed as thier master" they don't gain all the benefits ect. (they were made before turbo-boosting but until they update then you follow the current wording) so they would go 24" but they still die to bolter fire... it is odd but just imagine that the hounds are really really fast and normally the owner holds them on a short leash and when he hops on the bike the hounds enjoy showing off thier speed! hope that helps ya out... oh and yeah i am known as a rules "lawer" because i take the wording very literally... but i don't use them to my advantage by bending them... i just follow them by the word and know them extremely well...
