 |  wargear are you allowed to take more than 2 hands worth of weapons? for example, i give my space marine commander a bolter, power weapon, and bolt pistol? ive had this idea in my head for a while but noone i asked could answer. it would make sense if you could do it.

| The armoury says that Characters may have one two handed weapon and one one-handed weapon, or two one-handed weapons, as far as both hands go. I don't think they can have more.

| If its possible, they could only use one combination or the other. For example, your bolter, or the bolt pistol and power sword, but you could't shoot the bolter, then charge with the BP and CC weapon. I think.

| sorry mate, but weapon restrictions are quite clear; a) one 2-handed weapon + 1 single-handed weapon b) 2 single-handed weapons. look at the new dark angel codex; even thought each marine has a bolt pistol & bolter, you'll note that he doesn't get a CCW on top of that! (so even the newest 'dex is still maintaining that golden rule!  )cheers!

| well i knew that that normal marines couldnt do it but i thought maybe commanders could for some odd reason. mmk thats kewl. but wait, if commanders could do it then so could vet seargents and that equals a power fist, bolt pistol, and bolter. not cool. yea i guess it makes sense that they cant.

| i think the only differences in these rules might be special characters. for instance i think commissar yarrick has a master crafted storm bolter, laspistol, bale eye, and a battleclaw. thats one 2 handed weapon, and 2 one handed weapons. the bale eye isnt a hand weapon as its his eye. so.... |
