Default Wound allocation and model removal

I play a certain sneaky fellow on a regular basis who likes to charge his Terminator Command Squad at my poor, helpless nuns with guns. When I shoot his Twerms, invariably, he assigns the first (and sometines even the second) wound to the Lord, and then shoots back with everybody, including the Lord.
If you fail armour saves, do you have to remove one model for each wound, or is the above practice above board and fully justified? Please cite the appropriate FAQ or rule book page as he is something of a rules lawyer.

While I can't quote the book, all I know is that unless you are shoot by an many shots as their are models (eg if there are 5 models in a squad, and it is hit 10 times... then each model in the squad MUST take 2 armor saves), however, if not, you can allocate wounds on any model.

Heres how it works

if each model has 2 or more wounds then for every failed armour save you must allocate the first 2 wounds to one model. you can not give one wound to one model and another wound to another model.

also yes your opponent can allocate his wounds to anyone in his squad as long as he does not spread the wounds out as in the above statement.

also lets say your opponent has a 5 man squad. lets say you shoot 6-infinite shots. since you have more shots then he has men you can allocate one shot to a certain member of the squad. such as a leader, or a heavy or speciel weapon.

untill each and every member of the command squad has been 'wounded', he cannot put a 2nd (or subsiquint) wound on the IC!

for example, say your nuns cause a total of 4 wounds on the squad which has the IC + 4 termies.
1 wound can be assigned tothe IC, however, the 3 remaining wounds must be assigned to the termies!

now, say instead you cause a total of 8 wounds on the termies! the IC can take 1 of those hits, and then each of the four termies will also take a wound. as there are still 3 'wounds' left to be assigned, the IC can take another wound and the last 2 will go onto the termies...

hope this helps, and good luck laying a beat-down on this git!
cheers!
