| Soldaten ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | For Part One: 40k Terra's Fleet Fluff (must read) SORRY! for the delay guys, I know that a lot of you waited... Part Two: Eastern Fringe M45.660: Master's Log- Despite the machine spirits, our sensors have failed to detect an Ork Space Hulk above our position. These.. these Orks aren't as stupid as you would think, or are they just damn lucky. I have to keep this log session short, Fwd Comm. Hess stressed the importance of my presence in the bridge. I disagreed, my honour belongs, not at the helm of this ship, but at the helm of our assault into that hulk! The lumbering marine steps out of his quarters, though a once silent scene, is now filled with panic as his crews try to rally together to defeat the impending doom that looms above. Static Voice " Sir, all enemy escorts have been destroyed, and their cruisers seem to be on fire. The only thing that seems unscathed his that damn hulk, which hasnt yet fired." The static voice was none other than Naval Officer Hess, Arturous' trusted ally. "What are our reports,?" Arturous asked, "and how long till displacement?" "Sir, Hess replied, several of our forward ships have taken heavy damage, the Emperor Class has taken fire in their engines, and our ship is at 85% fighting strenght." "Thats a 100% in my books Hess, you should know, that even if we breathe we are at 100% 'fighting strenght'." Arturous added. 'Should I have your armour blessed, and ready than?" Hess asked. "Its been done, open teleport holds, ready for displacement." Arturous ordered. As Arturous was walking towards the holds a priest escorted him. "The men are blessed, and have read their litanies," the priest stated, "by my powers, I release to you the soliders of the Emperor at your command." At that time Arturous stepped into endless hanger. Inside was some of the finest Terminators standing at 50 strong. In exact unison as Arturous addressed the men, they stood ready. The sheer sound of their movement was a deafening thunder, while at the same time you were caught in true awe. Arturous along side was a boarding party standard, to be placed in the enemy's bridge, perferibly under the dead commander's body. Also his trusted veterans that have fought along side him for many ages. Arturous gave a shout. The 50 others followed suite. The once dim room becaming blindingly bright for only a second, then it was empty. Inside Ork construct was pure confusion. Once smoke has clear, or if it did not Arturous took a look around. He can see a fellow brother fused into the Ork ship as if he was part of it. "Some brothers just die at the fate of our bastard technology," Arturous added. Not a secondly after that, groups of small grots rushed away from every nick-and-cranny. "Cowards," a Terminator said. "No, just weaklings get ready brother," Arturous added." Down the long corridor, you can see a dim light getting brighter. Brunas lit the room, and a seemingly endless horde of Orks followed it. "Lets just hope our other brothers are just as lucky."
