9th Grand Company

The Ninth Grand Company is headed by the Chaos Lord known as The Dark Jester, and seconded in command by the Lieutenant-Sorcerer Kal-Garith. Unlike most of their brothers from the Heresy, the 9th Grand Company has not fallen to random plunder and raiding. The 9th is being led on a Dark Crusade of their own, following the prophetic visions of Kal-Garith; they are intent to resurrect the Night Haunter. Aboard the Battle-Barge TheDominus Nox, they have the very armors worn by the Night Haunter. They also have his remains in a stasis chamber deep within the bowels of the ship. They were present at Istavan V, earning personal recognition from Night Haunter on their battle prowess, in fact they had earned the honor to stay with Horus’ fleet and head to Terra, whilst the rest of the Legion departed to follow their orders. En-route to terra, the astropaths aboard the ship went mad when the Geller field failed momentarily. The few moments that the field fell, unspeakable terrors materialized and destroyed the minds of thousands of men. The crew was able to reengage the Geller field but not after the Damage was done, and they had few Astropaths remaining. They were lost in the warp but for a moment and managed to exit without too much damage or time passing. Unfortunately, they missed the siege. They performed some emergency repairs and were able to restore contact with the Night Haunter, and proceed to join him. They arrived at his palace only three days before his death. It was from there that Kal-Garith went into convulsions and prophesied of Night Haunters death, when the Dark Jester and the Chosen of Night Haunter managed to get to the throne room, the deed had been done. It is from that point on that their crusade began…


Thats the basis, I plan on expand it a little bit, but writers block is a *****...and I am not her pimp...in fact, I beleive Fat Jimmy owns that one....
