Nurgles Prime

First a explanation
There have been The Blood Pact, dedicated to Khorne
There have been The Sons Of Sek, who were Undivded

So I thought, "Wheres all the Nurgle Worshipping Traitor Guard? Nurgle's way kool in my opinion"

So I did a little bit of looking around on the old internetweb, and looking through my Codicies [I have 3 Guard Dexes, lol] and checking all my Guants Ghost Novels [I have all of them ]

And realised, I could make Nurgle Traitor Guard with the stuff I have, it would need Reworking a bit, and my models would need redoing

I had a talk with a German Hobbiest Friend of mine, and picked Doctorines, looked over my list, and its looking good, ill post it in the right section later, if I find it =].

Now the background Story


The Opening Years

When he was first born, Deverga had no idea of the chaos gods, or even the emperor, he was raises on a world which was forgotton to all but the savage races

Wanting to protect thier people, the "Rulers" as they were known, raises armies, and Deverga joined, quickly working his way up the ranks, to that of Captain, when it happened.


The Coming Of The Disease

One day, in a fight with a brutal race of green skinned beast, the sky burned red, and a ship crashed.

From this ship poured hundreds upon hundreds of 8 foot talk beings, beings that where mystical and only the eldars whispered of between themselves, beings called "Space Marines"

These beings charged into the brutal greenskins, and hacked, slashed and shot them, till the greenskins were nomore

But sometime was not right, Deverga watched as a Greenskin cut clean though the shoulder of one of these "Space Marines", removing his arm, only for a tentecal to grow out, and grip it round the throat, slamming it to the floor

When the battle was over, the ship opened again, and a great beast slid out of the door

He addressed himself as "Nurgle"


The Founding Of "Nurgle Prime"

Nurgle was here to raise a new Legion, A legion of Guardsmen. Having Hijacked a Munitorium ship to get to the planet Deverga was on.

Deverga, wanting to know what would happened, stepped forward, and addressed the being known as Nurgle, who took a liking to him, and placed him in charge of his new army, and told Deverga to model it like that of The False Emperors "Loyal" Forces, at which point one of the "Space Marines" handed Deverga a book, showing all he needed to know

Deverga, not wanting to anger this god, and wanting to appease him aswell, set to work immediatly, creating this force, while the Munitorium officals, who had been swayed to Nurgle trained them, and armed them, using the the Imperiums own tools


The First Flight In The Warp

During thier first flight in the warp, everyone started to feel the effects of Nurgle, bloating, limbs falling off and tentecals growing, clouds of flies

But, by the time they passed from the warp to thier first battlefeild, they didnt notice it, and were ready to fight.

They were "Nurgles Prime"

hmmm, is it like a demon prince of nurgle, or like a herald such as typhus...as i doubt Nurgle himself is floating about...lol ?

A Great Unclean One, But hes not going to call himself that if he wants to put the fear of deamons into people, hell call himself Nurgle.

yea anything can have tentacles. id hazard a guess theyd be more associated with nurgle anyway

I know I double posted, but I need help with the colour Scheme.

I was thinking the use of Snot Green and/or Goblin Green

Maybe something dirty looking for the clothing

and get some rust on the lasguns
