well, how soon is soo in this case? 1000 years, 500? it takes, i think 100 years to grow enough seed for 1 chapter, so if the GK were 666 that doesnt seem too far-fetched

The Grey Knights are a completely separate Chapter formed from engineered geneseed. They aren't any Primarchs progeny.

Read their Index Astartes article, it's merged with the Deathwatch as well but if rumours are anything to go by, their geneseed is taken directly from the Emperor's physiology!

back on subject: isnt the custodes being more poweful than marines a concoction of the HH books? i mean, before the HH i didnt even assume they were marines (marines in this context being gene-altered power armour wearing guys)

No, the Custodes have always been around and are better than Marines.
The new fluff (HH Artwork) states that during the GC they accompanied the Space Marine legions to make sure His will was being done. If I was a Primarch I'd find this immensely bloody cheeky.

Marines are from Primarchs and are His "grandchildren" as it were.

i was referring to the custodes when i said "are they psychic" because if they used his genes, then they'd be pyschically powerful, but to a much lesser degree, though probably more than most librarians.
whihc would make them guardian spear toting suprelibrarians without psyhoods and force weapons, so that didnt make sense especially considering theres hundreds of them

I'm pretty sure all had some psychic abilities, be they dreams of the future (Sanguinius, Konrad Curze) or sorcerous abilities (Magnus).
