Blog Entries: 17 | These are some excerpts from my stories and tales. if i get a bit of feedback I'll post whole stories. Enjoy! Mars unsheathed his chainsword and squeeezed the trigger lightly; it roared to life. He began his gruesome task of severing limbs and cutting torsos. His chainsword was his instrument, as he played the song of death. Mars killed a man with each movement of his body. At first he only smiled, then thinking of the hundreds that he had yet to slaughter he began to laugh, he laughed louder than the chaos around him, louder than a bloodthirsty god. Space Marines are immortal, but not invulnerable. Mars remembered the day he was gifted with immortality, then smirked at the thought that he would never see it. There is no "retirement" or "holiday" for a Space Marine, he would die in combat one day, and he accepted this. No, he welcomed this.
__________________ There are those that say war cannot be described by music, or sound; that there is no song to describe battle. I tell you now, the screams of the dying, the quake of the trembling earth, the howl of gunfire, the laughter of the gods of war, the crunch of bone beneath the axe...all are part of the ultimate symphony of carnage. My Chainaxe is my instrument, as i play the song of death. -Spartan2154 To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |
