Default Basic snow base

For anyone who wants to make a snow base for there mini heres some quick steps to doing so

step 1. paint the top and side of your base, since this base is gonna be for a plague marine of mine im going to use graveyard earth, but feel free to use any color that you want.

step 2. next apply some glue to cover the top. i like to use regular white elmers glue. next dip it in some sand, the more the glue the thicker the sand will be.

step 3. here i like to add some detail, a piece of pink insulation foam works well and will be used for a rock.

step 4. now the painting begins, numourous thins coats of white skull is applied to the sand, then the foam is painted codex grey, just make sure all the glue is dried before painting or things will get messy! then a light drybrush of white on your rock and painting is done.

step 5. now for the final step, a bit of snow flock to your base and your done. enjoy!

+ rep, nice tut.

Nice tut. It's important to mention that with the snow flock the applying white where the snow flock will be is an important step to make it look realistic.
