Blog Entries: 1  |  The best way to attach this.... so it looks like it's hovering. I did it like this but I have broken it down because it would have ended up to brittle. I'm not bothered if it 's only hovering a little bit, but I need it to be either detachable or really strong! Any suggestions (I got another 5 of these Mothers to build!!)

| Re: The best way to attach this.... use a piece of hanger (or somethng similar)thats what ive done before on flying models the plastic piece is too weak sometimes

Mart I might be too late but what I like to do is use a brass NAIL and push it up from the bottom of the base. the head uses more glue surface for the base attachment, the body is the rod part and the tip is pointed so it will attach easily with just a small "divot" in the base of the model.
