Default Cutting implements

Hi
I can't seem to figure out how to model hand held (or backpack) cutting devices for Imperial guardsmen much like those plasma cutters on the SM techpriest servo harness (or something similar) so if anyone could help that would be great.

Thanks

If you want you can always use the back pack from the techmarine... I think it would look cool, and from there you can either make the tools smaller to fit guardsmen more or shorter.

Or since it comes with more then one tool on each back pack just make each tool for a different back pack tool and maybe use the space marine back pack as the place to set them on.

I dunno if that makes sense.
Anyways whats your WIP with all these tools?

what regiment we talking? if its cadians you could chop the chainsword blade off the serge's arm so only the hilt remains. then use wire to make the (thatever you call the end where the heat comes from total greymatter collapse) and some thicker wire/plastic rod to join the bottom of the hilt to the voxcaster back pack.

thats one idea

Hey thanks for the ideas
Steellegioncpt: Yeah i understand what you are saying about the backpack and all. My idea for this was inspired by the imperial guard codex where the drop troops doctrine mentions guys arriving through tunneling devices .

hairyyahoo: i am using cadians and thats not a bad idea (i might try it)
