Looking good... Any plans to add some gore.

I know it doesn't sound pretty, but some blood, guts, tendons, etc. etc. would look great and gruesom.

My two cents,
Servo

Defiantly!
I quite like subtle gore though.
In this little diorama the dead kriegman was meant to be digging a small
foxhole but got shot in the head and has been on the ground for around a day,
you can see the bullet entrance hole on the helmet,
the exit wound on the other side of the helmet would be far more gruesome,
but alas we can't see it

How did you paint the large base? What colors did you use? I paint all of my bases in one generic, bland gray that doesn't look that exiting.

it'd probably make sense if you kept it otherwise you'd have to make a crater or cause considerably more damage to "explain" a missing limb from an explosion.

I absolutely adore Death Korps,
but as they are expensive I am collecting them very slowly and spending
allot of time painting them.
I like to base miniatures on the Siege Regiments from IA5 and the soon to
come IA6.
Ironically my favorite color schemes are the Dark Blue/Grey ones
as I see these being the most realistic. But there will be more than one regiment in my finished army, but I love painting miniatures from other factions that catch my eye or improve me as a painter.
It also keeps the mammoth task that is collecting and painting Imperial Guard
in dull realistic colors fresh and interesting as to maintain standards.
thanks I know I waffled but that's why I love this hobby/life
