i, am currently procrastinating a lot i would apologise but i can already feel the 'Stick connecting with my cranium so i know it won't help.

eventually/soon, the answer will be yes. i just need to tear myself away from the keyboard first!

take one carnifex, one 3" length of the CoD Mechanicus building exhaust stack, a pack of milliput/green stuff/sculpy and finally any spare mechanical parts you may have (ie, a sentinel powerpack, search your bitz box!).

Simply use files, clippers, green stuff and ingenuity to make the carnifex parts not looks like tyranid limbs.

First, create the legs using the four scything talons, attach to hips/lowerbody of carnifex.

Build carifnex body as normal.
Place carnifex head of choice on top of the body, pin and greenstuff it into place, perhaps make it appear to have burst from the top plate.

Insert the CoD exhaust in the empty head socket, green stuff it to look like its held in place by skin +muslce.

Attach the Claw arms to the top arm sockets on the body, fill in the lower pair.

Finally have various pieces of machinery stick out from the model - from guitar sting looping from one part to another, to the afore mentioned sentinel powerpack attached to its back.

You should now be left with a very organic looking Defiler, with two Dread CCWs.
For stability it my be a good idea to base it on a piece of MDF, 3-5mm thick with bevelled or rounded edges.


What your left with is something that can be described as either a monstrous Obliterater or a heavily possessed Defiler whose very shape has been changed by the daemon trapped within.


I plan to make this myself at somepoint in the coming months.

Okay, so the Carnifex is finally in my hands, the plan may change slightly, but will esentially remain the same. When I actually start making it i'll give it its own thread, but for now this is just a heads up.
I expect it'll be built during my christmas break.

BUMP! so any one got any updates or new ideas for this one , i need to get it figured out. so i can hook up my defiler.

i keep looking at my defiler trying to figure out how to plasticard a pair of arms but i keep coming up with nothing! i'll redouble my efforts!
