 |  "its all good" its all good... dont throw away that cardboard shoe box, the incinerate that gaint peice of wood,dont chuck away that sheet of rigged iron....save it! you can use it to create marvellous terrain and backgrounds you can spray that shoebox and add some coulors and items and create a command bunker(ive dont this my self) dont incinerate wood, i like wood! rigged iron can play a great part in creating necron and imperial terrian just add some gravel to you card base, spray it black add some rocks and a small amount of iron for a disasterful look old stuff around your house can be made into amazing terrian, polystyrene balls, cocktail sticks,wire,even paperclips! soon you will find your terrain collection growing rapidly! cardboard can be especially useful i will update later gotta go! |

 |  Strangely worded, but a good point. Some of my best terrain came from the bits and pieces of "garbage" stuff! All you need is some time and work ethic and you can take normal stuff into futuristic buildings There is an article on the GW site (I think the UK part) which covers this perfectly

| yea, anyone want to talk about somthing theyve made? ill start off: imperial command trench imperial guard i used a giant peice of hardboard, some gravel and slate, some wiremesh and of course sheets of wavy iron i basicly made a trench and made it look like a bomb shelter that had been hit, i dont have pics but it was really great and in total for all the stuff i used, it only cost £7 and its about 50 cm long |

Blog Entries: 1 | i used to make lots of scenery out of random stuff i found in everyday life. i would just pick interesting looking stuff up and incorperate it into something whenever i was struck by the inspitation. corrugated card was a fave. you could go to a super market and walk out with as many fruit packing boxes as you could carry. i once spent a whole day making ruined buildings using nothing but corrugated card. wound up with enough for a whole ruined city!

| speaking of british supermarkets, you know how those small bags you get for fruit and veg? Well in places like Co-op they come on strong cardboard rolls rather than in a container. They work wonders as supports, chimneys, pipes and what-not.
